BUILDING A STRONGER IOWA
TOGETHER
WHY I'M RUNNING
I'm Mandy Newton Rosenow, candidate in the 2026 election for Iowa House District 46. I believe Iowa’s best days are ahead of us. By working together, focusing on common-sense solutions, and investing in our people and communities, we can build a state that is affordable, healthy, and welcoming for generations to come.
I am running for Iowa House District 46 in 2026 because I believe Iowa can once again be a place where families choose to stay, return, and build their futures.
MY PRIORITIES

Work to lower the cost of housing, food, and care for Iowa families. Improve access to affordable childcare and elder care so communities can grow, work, and stay safe.
Make Iowa More Affordable
Strengthen public schools and the students they serve. Increase oversight of school voucher spending and evaluate where vouchers are working—and where they are not delivering value for Iowa taxpayers.
Support Public Education
Create a health care system where providers and patients make decisions together, without unnecessary government interference. Recruit and retain health care professionals so all Iowans can access care in their communities.
Accessible Health Care
Examine the factors contributing to Iowa's rising cancer rates and take immediate steps to protect Iowa families. Expand access to cancer screening and early detection across the state.
